AUDITIONS & ADMISSIONS

SPRING AUDITION: Saturday, April 18, 2026

The VIVA School will hold auditions for dancers ages 6–16 seeking entrance for the 2026-2027 programming year. Accepted students will be enrolled beginning Summer 2026. 

All prospective students are required to complete a Pre-Registration Form.

Pre-Registration Deadline: Wednesday, April 8, 2026

Once the pre-registration form is submitted in full, applicants will receive an email confirming their audition.

VIVA maintains a highly selective admissions process, accepting a small number of auditioning students each year. Acceptance is through audition only. All accepted students train on a full-merit scholarship.

Please Note: Students must turn 6 and be entering 1st grade by September 30, 2026.

The VIVA School merges world-class dance training with leadership development to cultivate the creative leaders of tomorrow. All accepted students train on a full-merit scholarship, estimated at more than $120,000 from acceptance through high school graduation. Graduates have gained acceptance into the nation's top collegiate dance programs and conservatories, including Boston Conservatory at Berklee College, Alonzo King Lines Ballet BFA at Dominican University, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Point Park University, Southern Methodist University Meadows School of the Arts, Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase, The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, George Mason University School of Dance, London Contemporary Dance School, Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. 

Students at The VIVA School train year-round in ballet, contemporary, hip hop, modern, pointe, and traditional and contemporary African diasporic dance forms and are immersed in a comprehensive and exciting leadership development curriculum that promotes interdisciplinary learning and thinking. Students at VIVA work alongside master teaching artists, receive specialized classes and individualized coaching, and create a lifelong community.
